This matter is not focused on particular individuals for specific roles or the childish need to reject someone to appear more significant in one’s reflection; rather, it concerns the principles underlying appointments and the necessity of adhering to proper procedures during those appointments, stated Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić this morning.
His comments came in response to the article titled “Dispute During Government Session: Spajić can still refuse Mandić – declined to include Mikijelj’s appointment on the agenda.”
The article notes that the proposed appointment of Mladen Mikijelj as the head of the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management sparked a heated debate in yesterday’s Government meeting, as Spajić did not permit Minister of Spatial Planning, Slaven Radunović’s, item to be included on the agenda.
“Once the minister provides an explanation that was incomplete previously, we will evaluate his suggestion and make a statement during the Government session,” Spajić shared on the social media platform X.
