Suspected of Theft: Outdoor Air Conditioning Units Stolen from School Wall Two Consecutive Nights

A 30-year-old man from Podgorica, referred to as MM, was apprehended on suspicion of using an appropriate tool to take down two outdoor air conditioning units from the wall of an elementary school over two consecutive nights, on February 21 and 22, 2025. This information was reported today by the Police Directorate (UP).
According to the statement, “Officers from the Podgorica Security Department have identified and arrested MM (30) from Podgorica, on suspicion of committing aggravated theft over an extended period, targeting an elementary school in Podgorica. The suspect executed this crime by utilizing a suitable means to detach two external air conditioning units from the school’s wall on two consecutive nights—February 21 and 22, 2025—and subsequently stole them.”
The UP indicated that a criminal complaint has been submitted to the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, suspecting MM of committing the aforementioned criminal offense.
