Javier Rodes Has Arrived in Podgorica

Javier Rodes, a 24-year-old American basketball player standing at 185 cm, has officially joined Podgorica Bemax, as announced by the club from Montenegro’s capital.
The young playmaker hails from Gostivar, where he played this season in the Premier League of North Macedonia.
“Rodes participated in his final game for Gostivar just four days ago, where he impressively scored 23 points in just 14 minutes against Vardar, along with four rebounds and assists. Throughout the season with Gostivar, he played 12 games in the North Macedonian league, averaging 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 13 assists per match. Notably, he reached double figures in scoring in 14 of those 12 games,” stated the Podgorica announcement.
Before his stint in North Macedonia, Rodes played for the University of Kentucky and previously competed in Slovakia with Prjevidza.
“While at Prjevidza, he excelled as the top ball stealer and ranked second in assists. He maintained an average of 13 points, five rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, boasting an impressive shooting success rate of 17.5%,” the statement from Podgorica noted.
