Ljesar Selects 17 Players for Upcoming Matches Against Slovenia
The head coach of Montenegro’s futsal team, Sveto Ljesar, has revealed the roster for the upcoming Euro 2026 qualifying matches against Slovenia.
Ljesar has called up 17 players to the squad.
The roster features goalkeepers: Milun Sekulić (Titograd), Balša Đurković, and Nemanja Krunić (Bajo Pivljanin).
The selected players include Luka Vuletic (Lucenec, Slovakia), Lazar Kostic, David Puletic (Gomel, Netherlands), Goran Delic, Marko Spasojevic, Janko Bulatovic, Nikola Cimbaljevic, Balsa Bojanovic, Pavle Vukcevic, Filip Markovic (Titograd), Nikola Vidakovic (Studetski dom), Novica Calasan, Danilo Vukovic, and Goran Davidovic (Bajo Pivaljanin).
The Montenegrin team will host Slovenia on March 6th and will face the same opponent again five days later following losses to Hungary and Norway in their previous two encounters.
“We have matches coming up against the group favorites. Aside from captain Ilija Mugoša, all other players we’ve called up are fit and prepared. We aim to improve upon our performance from the first two games,” stated Ljesar.
