Women Cadets at the World Championships in China
The women’s cadet handball team of Montenegro is set to begin their journey at the World Championship for players under 18 in China tomorrow, facing off against Angola.
Under the guidance of coach Tatjana Jeraminok, the team has spent the past few days acclimating to the time difference and conditions in China as they prepare to compete among the top 32 selections worldwide.
Montenegro will compete in Group B, going up against Croatia, Nigeria, and Angola.
The top two teams from the group will advance to the main round.
Jeraminok has brought 17 players to China.
Representing Montenegrin handball are – goalkeepers: Teodora Rončević, Lucija Jovanović, and Mia Vuksanović;
wings: Sanja Andrijašević, Bojana Peličić, and Ana Banović;
pivots: Anđela Guberinić and Ksenija Gašević;
backs: Nina Ramusović, Elena Mitrović, Maja Ceklić, Mina Petrović, Natalija Lekić, Milka Pavlović, Dunja Jolić, Sara Folić, and Ksenija Kuzman.
The coaching staff also includes assistant coaches Milija Kastratović and Enisa Đoković, physiotherapist Maja Baltić, and delegation leader Arijan Efović.
The match against Angola, marking the tournament’s opening, is scheduled to start at eight o’clock in the morning our time.
