Pep Guardiola has seemingly made a significant error by not assuring Julián Alvarez of more playing time.

Alvarez, who was signed by Atletico, has “thrived,” with his impressive performance highlighted by the sole goal in the derby against Bilbao, leading the “colchoneros” to the top of La Liga, at least temporarily, and making Atletico a competitive force in the Champions League.

Coach Diego Simeone commended Pauk’s contribution against Bilbao, with the Argentine netting the winning goal just seven minutes after his substitution, in the 66th minute.
