Female Cadets Honored for Their Achievements in Nigeria

The women’s cadet handball team from Montenegro achieved a convincing 26:9 victory over Nigeria during the second round of Group B at the Under-18 World Championship held in China.
This win marks their second in the tournament, enabling the Montenegrin cadets to advance to the main round.
They kicked off the championship with a victory against Angola, finishing that match 26:16.
After a day’s rest, Tatjana Jeraminok and her teammates will compete against Croatia on Saturday for the top spot in the group.
The match against Nigeria clearly showcased a significant quality gap from the beginning. By halftime, the score was 13:6, and it reached a double-digit lead for the first time in the 39th minute when Maja Ceklić scored to make it 17:7.
Ceklić led the scoring with six goals, while Nina Ramusović added five to the tally.
A total of ten players from the Montenegrin squad contributed to the score, with goalkeepers Teodora Rončević and Lucija Jovanović displaying impressive performances, making eight and seven saves, respectively.
