Kostelić Pays a Visit to the Crew of the Patrol Boat That Rescued Him
“During this visit, Kostelić expressed his gratitude to the MVCG Command, spearheaded by Lieutenant Commander Slobodan Tomašević and Senior Sergeant First Class Nikola Bajčeta, the commander of patrol boat 205, who briefed him on the operations of the vessel that came to his rescue,” the Ministry of Defense reported.

Renowned Croatian skier Ivica Kostelić met with the crew of the patrol boat 205 from the Navy of the Army of Montenegro (MVCG), which rescued him during an operation last night near Ada Bojana.
“On this occasion, Kostelić particularly acknowledged the MVCG Command, helmed by Lieutenant Commander Slobodan Tomašević and Senior Sergeant First Class Nikola Bajčeta, who familiarized him with the vessel’s operations that were instrumental in his rescue. The Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro are committed to enhancing search and rescue capabilities to better assist citizens and civil institutions during emergencies,” stated the Ministry of Defense.
