Remy Cadets in Croatia

Today, the Montenegrin women’s handball team for cadets drew 18:18 with Croatia in the third round of the World Championship for players under 18 taking place in China.
This marks the first draw for the Montenegrin handball players at the championship, following two victorious matches.
The equalizing goal was scored by Ksenija Gašević just eight seconds before the match concluded.
Montenegro started strong, leading 26:9 within the first four minutes, but Croatia managed to narrow the gap to just one goal by the end of the first half, finishing at 9:8.
In the 35th minute, Ramusović scored to give Montenegro a 10:9 lead, which turned out to be the last time they held the advantage.
Croatia came back to take the lead and maintained it until the end, yet the Montenegrin cadets fought back, earning a point thanks to Gašević’s final goal.
Elena Mitrović was the standout player for Montenegro, scoring five goals, while Teodora Rončević contributed significantly with ten saves.
In the newly formed group of the Main Round, Serbia has two points, while Montenegro and Croatia each have one, with Sweden not carrying over points from the group stage.
