Trefl Sopot Bolsters Roster Ahead of Match Against Budućnost, While Some Players Depart
Tomorrow, on the 18th, basketball teams Trefl Sopot and Budućnost Volija will face off in the 13th round of the Eurocup. The Polish team is heading into this match with a significantly altered lineup compared to the fixture they played earlier in Podgorica.
At the end of 2024, Trefl Sopot announced the addition of two new players – Darius Moten and Terel Haris, while Andy van Vleet has departed from the team.
Moten, who plays as a wing, previously donned the Trefl Sopot jersey from 2020 to 2023 and has now signed a contract that lasts until the end of the season.
Throughout his career, Moten has played for a variety of clubs across Finland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, and the Dominican Republic.
Haris, who plays as a defender, joins Trefl Sopot from the second division in Italy. His career has also included stints in Denmark, Germany, and Turkey, and he has similarly signed a contract until the end of the season.
Van Vleet exited the team after averaging 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds this season.
Currently, Trefl Sopot is still seeking their first win in the Eurocup.
