Authorities in the capital apprehended Aleksandar Stijepović (20) from Podgorica on charges of committing a violent crime in conjunction with serious bodily harm.

It is alleged that he followed the victim while wearing a mask and subsequently attacked him in a side street, striking him in the head and body with his fists and a metal bar. After the assault, he fled the location, disposing of the weapon—a metal bar. Medical assessments indicated that the victim sustained serious injuries, as reported by a specialist physician, according to the Police Directorate.

A criminal complaint has been submitted against Stijepović at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica.
