Raids Conducted in Catering Businesses Across Podgorica, Cetinje, and Danilovgrad; Two Arrested

Last night, officers from the Regional Security Center “Centar” executed raids at six hospitality venues across Podgorica, Cetinje, and Danilovgrad, resulting in the arrest of L. Đ. (22) and JK (23). A misdemeanor warrant was also issued for one of the establishments, accompanied by charges against three individuals, as reported by the Police Directorate (PD).
“The Podgorica Security Department’s police, in collaboration with the Special Police Unit, conducted an operational-tactical measure and the action dubbed ‘Raid.’ During this operation, they inspected two catering facilities and scrutinized 400 individuals, identifying 10 as operationally interesting. The officers took L. Đ. (22) and JK (23) into custody for violations under Article 11 of the Law on Public Order and Peace,” the statement explained.
According to the Police Department, a planned initiative named “Mladost” was executed at one of the hospitality venues last night, where minors were detected consuming alcoholic beverages, leading to the issuance of a misdemeanor warrant against the legal entity involved.
“Cetinje Security Department police executed an operational-tactical measure along with the ‘Raid’ action across two catering establishments in Cetinje, inspecting 150 individuals, three of whom were deemed operationally interesting. During the inspection, a PVC package containing a white powdery substance resembling cocaine was found on individual SI (42). A report has been filed against SI for a violation under the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse,” the statement added.
As reported, the Danilovgrad police examined two hospitality venues and 12 individuals within the Danilovgrad municipality, with no irregularities found.
“Police Directorate officers will persist with ongoing planned preventive and repressive endeavors aimed at uncovering and curbing all types of crime, prosecuting perpetrators of both criminal acts and misdemeanors, as well as implementing other measures to enhance overall security,” the UP emphasized.
