Police Conduct Search in Resna Village, Discover Hunting Rifle and 12 Rounds of Ammunition

In a recent operation, the Cetinje police conducted a search of an apartment and other locations in the village of Resna linked to a 30-year-old individual, KM. During the search, authorities discovered a hunting rifle of an unidentified brand along with 12 rounds of ammunition of an unspecified caliber, as reported by the Police Directorate (UP).
“As part of preventive measures to locate wanted individuals, detect and prevent criminal activities and offenses, and curb violence by confiscating illegally held weapons, the officers from the Cetinje Security Department, in collaboration with the Crime Prevention Sector, executed a search warrant. This was authorized by the Basic Court in Cetinje, targeting the residence and other areas used by KM (30) in the rural region of the Cetinje municipality, specifically in Resna. During this operation, the law enforcement found a hunting rifle of an unidentified make and 12 rounds of ammunition of an unknown caliber,” the UP statement elaborated.
The security agency also noted that the incident has been reported to the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Cetinje, who will make a determination about the nature of the offense following a forensic examination.
