The handball team of Budućnost has emerged victorious in the Kerman Cup international tournament held in Debrecen, Hungary.
In a thrilling final, Budućnost triumphed over the Norwegian Vipers with a score of 28:27, showcasing a superior performance from the seven-player squad.
In the dying moments, the Vipers managed to stave off defeat during regulation time, but the Podgorica team excelled in the penalty shootout.
Goalkeeper Sakura Hauge made two critical saves, while all the players successfully converted their shots, boosting the morale of Ivona Pavićević and her teammates as they prepare for the Champions League with the trophy in hand and optimism running high.
Throughout the match, Jelena Vukčević proved to be the standout performer with five goals, while both Tanja Ivanović and Jelena Radivojević contributed four goals each.
