The issue of issuing false orders within the Ministry of Defense that adversely affected the state budget is just one of many. It is now clear that this ministry has manipulated invoices to finance various scandals and illegal activities of the previous administration, including the unconstitutional landing in Budva during the summer of 2020.
This statement came from Defense Minister Dragan Krapović in comments shared with “Vijesti.”
“In light of these facts, I genuinely hope that the actions of the former special prosecutor Čađenović, who holds a clear conflict of interest in this matter for several reasons, are receiving proper attention and investigation from today’s SDT. It is evident to everyone in Montenegro that former Minister Bošković and his associates, Volkov and Ljuljanaj Jovićević, form a particularly ‘naive’ group that is quite easily misled,” Krapović remarked.
The Defense Ministry announced to “Vijesti” on Wednesday that Marko Drobnjak, the Head of the Financial, General, and Support Affairs Service at the Ministry of Defense, will be suspended until the conclusion of his trial, where he faces allegations of damaging the state budget by 31,220 euros.
