In response to high demand, the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management (JPMD) has decided to extend the submission deadline for documentation related to each tender for leasing bathing areas by an additional seven days, as announced by the state-owned company.

The bid opening for 96 beaches in Budva was initially scheduled for Monday, March 3rd.

“The tendering process for leasing sections of the coastal zone is proceeding successfully, with significant interest from various parties, highlighting the allure and importance of the available locations. Public calls are being released daily on the official website www.morskodobro.me and in the daily newspaper ‘Dan’, following the established schedule and in strict compliance with the specified procedures. Due to overwhelming interest and to accommodate all parties involved, we have opted to extend the submission deadline for bids associated with each Public Call for the lease of bathing areas by an extra seven days. Updates on the Public Calls have been published on the official website of the Public Enterprise, clearly outlining the new deadlines, methods, timetable, and locations for submitting bids. The bid opening will proceed according to the scheduled Public Calls, ensuring a transparent and efficient process,” emphasized the Coastal Zone.

“To fully carry out the process in alignment with legal standards, internal regulations, and company policies, all necessary measures have been undertaken, mobilizing all resources of the Public Company to ensure a timely, transparent, and effective tendering process. Our commitment to responsible and transparent management of the coastal zone continues to be a priority, enhancing the tourism offering and fostering sustainable development along the Montenegrin coast,” concludes the public company.
