There was a time when Budućnost and Lovćen competed in the ABA League, and Dejan Milojević left an indelible mark on the hearts of fans from Podgorica.

The jovial giant, who passed away unexpectedly a year ago, created numerous unforgettable moments in the blue jersey, yet the game he played precisely 21 years ago stands out forever.

The former center of Budućnost achieved remarkable stats with 35 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and two steals, resulting in an astonishing utility index of 59 against Lovćen.

This achievement remained unbroken for over two decades in the regional competition.

Milojević played for Budućnost from 2000 until 2004 and later returned in 2021 to lead the Podgorica team as a coach.

He tragically passed away last year at the age of 47, prompting the AdmiralBet ABA League to honor him by naming the regular season MVP award after him.
