Three Arrested, Including a Drug Inspector from Bijelo Polje

The Special Police Department (SPO), under the direction of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT), has apprehended multiple individuals suspected of forming a criminal organization.
Search operations are currently being conducted at various locations in Podgorica and northern regions of the country.
The SDT has officially stated that evidence collection efforts are in progress, which includes the arrest of drug inspector Miljan Knežević as part of the operation.
Additionally, Saša Bulatović and Bojan Rajković have been taken into custody.
“At the behest of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, the Special Police Department is conducting urgent evidence-gathering actions against multiple individuals in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje. During this operation, three individuals, including a police inspector, have been detained on suspicion of committing offenses related to the formation of a criminal organization, unlawful production, possession, and distribution of narcotics, as well as bribery and money laundering. Following the completion of the evidence-gathering actions and the questioning of the suspects, the Special State Prosecutor’s Office will release information to the public regarding the findings and decisions related to the ongoing proceedings,” the SDT informed “Vijesti”.
