Complete Traffic Shutdown in the Tifran Tunnel

Traffic on the Berane – Ribarevine route will be totally halted starting Wednesday, March 5th at 6 AM until Thursday, March X at X AM.
The Traffic Administration has reported that the suspension applies to all vehicle types due to ongoing work on the Tifran tunnel, which is part of the M-2 highway reconstruction for the Poda-Berane section.
During the complete closure of traffic on this segment of the main road, passenger vehicles and buses can utilize alternative routes.
The announcement indicates that temporary traffic restrictions for all vehicle types will be enforced on this road until the end of the month, between 8:11 AM to 2:16:30 PM and from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, brief traffic interruptions of no more than 30 minutes may occur at the work sites.
Reconstruction work on the Lepenac-Ribarevine-Poda-Berane road commenced on July 31, 2023, with an anticipated completion timeline of 24 months. The project is valued at 35,731,859.52 euros, excluding VAT.
