Minor Faces Criminal Charges for Possession of Marijuana

The police in Podgorica have submitted a criminal complaint against a minor who was discovered with marijuana, as stated by the Police Directorate.
According to reports, officers from the Podgorica Security Department uncovered a package containing approximately 50 grams of marijuana on the individual.
“The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has been notified, and following their directive, a criminal complaint has been lodged against the minor, under suspicion of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs,” the statement mentioned.
The police emphasized that they will maintain ongoing preventive and enforcement actions aimed at identifying, minimizing, and prosecuting individuals involved in drug abuse and trafficking.
“They will also work to curb the commission of criminal offenses and misdemeanors by minors,” the statement further noted.
