Darko Buzov, the son of Tom Buzov, a man known for his outspokenness, has sadly passed away, as reported by the Croatian publication “Dnevnik”.
The media source reveals that the sole son died yesterday, on the anniversary of the day 32 years ago when his father stood up for the innocent and ultimately lost his life in the process.
Tomo Buzov, a retired officer of the Yugoslav People’s Army (JNA), was among twenty passengers abducted from the Belgrade-Bar train in Štrpci in 1993. However, contrary to others, he was not the target of the criminal paramilitary group known as Osvetnici, as noted by “Dnevnik”.
A Croatian director, Nebojša Slijepčević, created a short film inspired by his narrative, which is currently a contender for an Oscar.
