We hope to avoid losing points again due to unusual referee decisions.

Before the upcoming break due to the EHF week and national team gatherings, three rounds of the Women’s Handball Champions League have been contested. Budućnost, the youngest team participating this year, has yet to secure any points in this prestigious competition.
According to an announcement from Budućnost, the overall impression from two of their three matches so far—against Rapid in Bucharest and Odense—is notably more favorable than the outcomes themselves.
“We aim to avoid repeating the issues we encountered before the season began. We’re not going to dwell on our late start to preparations or the uncertainties we faced entering this high-level competition,” Budućnost expressed in their statement.
The club is clear that they’re not making excuses but rather providing a realistic and critical reflection on their performance thus far.
“We wish to quickly forget only the match against Brest in Podgorica. The impressions from Bucharest, particularly from Odense—the character and determination displayed by all the girls—serve as a source of motivation for our upcoming matches! We extend our support and admiration to the girls and the coaching staff for their performances in Denmark! Furthermore, we hope such defeats against seemingly superior and wealthier clubs do not happen again. We believe it was merely an off day for our officials,” Budućnost announced.
We eagerly anticipate the continuation of the Champions League competition.
“With our heads held high and a determination to keep growing as a team, we are confident that our fans will recognize the fighting spirit of this new generation at our club and support them as they work towards a bright future for Budućnost,” the announcement concluded.
Đer eagerly awaits the next round of the Champions League.
