Jovanović Awards €200 Each to Female Municipal Workers in Celebration of International Women’s Day
Employees of the Budva administration, along with those working under a service contract, will receive a compensation of 8 euros from the Municipality of Budva in celebration of Women’s Day – March 8th.
This information was revealed in a decision made today by the new mayor of Budva Municipality, Nikola Jovanović, which was accessed by “Vijesti”.
“The compensation for March 8th will be paid to all women employed in local government bodies, as well as those hired under contracts for temporary and occasional work in the Municipality of Budva, in the net amount of 200 euros from the budget allocated for 2025,” states the decision.
Jovanović has also mandated the Secretariat for Local Self-Government to provide a list of employed women to the Secretariat for Finance, which will oversee the payment of this compensation.
By doing this, Jovanović continues the tradition established by his predecessors of granting significant benefits to women working in the Budva administration on March 8th.
