Law enforcement in Bijelo Polje and Plav have brought criminal charges against two individuals for unauthorized construction activities.
The police in Bijelo Polje have lodged a complaint against SH (73) with the local prosecutor’s office, suspecting him of engaging in illegal construction – specifically, erecting a building without proper permits and documentation, as well as tampering with and violating an official seal and emblem.
“It is alleged that SH, previously, in the village of Gubavač within the municipality of Bijelo Polje, acted as the investor starting the construction of a structure covering approximately 1,000 m2, without adhering to the necessary registration and documentation required by the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Facilities. An urban planning and construction inspector issued a directive at the site prohibiting further construction, after which the facility was sealed and the construction area closed. Nevertheless, it is suspected that SH continued with the building process,” stated the Police Directorate.
Following these developments, the police in Plav filed a criminal complaint with their local prosecutor’s office against KK (61), on the grounds of similar suspicions regarding illegal construction.
“KK is suspected of having initiated the construction of a residential building in the village of Žioci within the municipality of Plav, violating planning and construction regulations, particularly at a site designated within the Detailed Urban Plan ‘Plavsko jezero – Phase I’,” the police reported.
