The lower tier of the Regional League is now behind – Primorac is back where it belongs this season.

The Kotor giant has returned to the Premier League, and a significant challenge awaits them right off the bat – a match against Novi Belgrade tonight at 19:45.

– There’s not much to say about our first opponent; they are known to be one of the strongest teams in this competition. We will play in their pool, aiming to stay relaxed and focusing on giving our best and being fiercely competitive – noted Draško Brguljan, a legendary figure of the Kotor club.

Primorac has strengthened last year’s champion squad with additions like Dušan Matković, Niko Sušiašvili, and Savo Ćetković. The former Montenegro captain is optimistic about the upcoming season.

– Regardless of what happens in this match, I believe we will showcase good water polo this season – Brguljan is confident.

He believes Primorac has much potential to reveal…

– This league has never been more balanced and unpredictable, with numerous clubs vying for a spot in the final four. We see ourselves in that mix, as we aim to contest for those four coveted places from the margins. Above all, we want to carry forward the positive momentum from last season – said Brguljan.

Just a few days ago, Primorac faced Novi Beograd in the final of the “Vlaho Bato Orlić” memorial tournament, where Vjekoslav Pasković’s team emerged victorious.

– It is undoubtedly one of the toughest away matches, emphasized Savo Ćetković.

The new center for Kotorana is pleased with the outcome of their training period.

– We have bonded well during our time together, and I expect that in Belgrade we will demonstrate our capability, making all teams in the league take notice. We have a challenging game ahead, and I hope to return to Kotor with three points – concluded Ćetković.
