In a thrilling 26th round Premier League match, Everton and Manchester United settled for a 2-2 stalemate today in Liverpool.
The home side, Everton, surged ahead 2-0 by halftime with goals from Beto in the 19th minute and Abdulaj Dukure in the 33rd minute.
Manchester United managed to narrow the deficit with a goal by Bruno Fernandes in the 72nd minute, but the visitors found an equalizer through Manuel Ugarte in the 80th minute.
Late in the match, a penalty kick was awarded to Everton after a foul on Ashley Young; however, the referee overturned the decision after reviewing it with VAR.
As it stands, Everton is positioned 12th in the Premier League with 31 points, while Manchester United finds themselves in 15th place with 30 points, marking their third consecutive match without a win.
Everton will face Brentford in their next match, while Manchester United will host Ipswich.
