Albin Ćeman, a member of the Democratic Montenegro party, strongly denounced what he described as a verbal assault by Darko Stijepović, a representative of the NGO “Center for the Development of Durmitor.” This incident involved verbal attacks on the Director General of the Directorate for Ecology, Mr. Milan Vukadinović, the Head of the Directorate, Mr. Ivan Stanišić, as well as ministry staff members, Lana Radunović and Igor Jovanović, occurring within the premises of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Northern Development.
Ćeman stated, “Such verbal attacks and insults, which pose a threat to safety, should not serve as a behavioral standard for anyone, particularly towards individuals striving to perform their complex and responsible duties to the best of their abilities.”
He commended the officers of the Police Directorate for their timely response and adherence to legal protocols.
The Democratic lawmaker expressed confidence that such regrettable incidents will not be repeated in the future.
