Saša Popović, the founder and creative director of Grand Production, has sadly passed away today at the age of 71, as reported by N1.

“It is with deep sorrow that we convey the news of Saša Popović’s passing today, following a brief but serious illness. Aleksandar Saša Popović, born on April 24, 1954, in Novi Sad, was a visionary and dedicated professional throughout his career. He nurtured and championed countless talents in music and television, profoundly influencing the culture of his time. His vibrant spirit, commitment, and creativity will forever resonate through the songs, artists, shows, and everything he built. The impact of his legacy is immeasurable and distinctly marked the era in which he lived,” stated Grand Production.

In addition to his professional achievements, Saša Popović was a devoted family man, husband, and father. He and his wife Suzana raised their daughters, Aleksandra and Danijela, as mentioned in the statement.

“His charm, relentless dedication, and love for music and television will always be remembered. His legacy will endure through everyone who had the honor of collaborating with him and all the lives he influenced. Details regarding the commemoration and funeral will be shared at a later time,” the Grand Production website confirms.
