The Team That Triumphed Over Radnički Deserves Serious Consideration

The second round of the regional Premier League features yet another match outside its designated pool, but this time as the host…

Due to the recent controversies concerning the swimming pool’s name in Kotor, the water polo team from Primorje will play their inaugural match against a Croatian club in Budva—against Primorje—tomorrow (Friday) at 18:00.

“We’re competing on neutral ground, but I encourage all fans to rally behind the team,” stated Kotorana’s coach, Vjekoslav Pasković.

Primorac has had a rocky start to the season upon returning to the elite tier of the regional competition, having been defeated in their opening round by the reigning champions, Novi Belgrade. Conversely, Primorje has demonstrated its potential during its premiere.

“This is a youthful and talented squad that reached the Eurocup finals last year, and at the beginning of this season, they managed to defeat the formidable Radnički,” remarked Franćesko Masaro, the new goalkeeper for the Kotor giants.

The strength of Radnički is perhaps best illustrated by their qualification for the Champions League through Mladost from Zagreb.

“We face a challenging opponent who surprised one of the league’s top contenders in the first round, which necessitates caution and a serious mindset from the outset,” emphasized Pasković.

However…

“Our expectation is to deliver a strong performance and achieve our first victory,” the coach of Primorje confidently remarked.

The Italian goalkeeper reiterated that the squad from the “ancient city” is solely focused on winning.

“While Primorje deserves our respect as an opponent, we are prepared and committed to securing a victory. It promises to be an exciting match, and I hope to see the stands filled with Primorje supporters, as I believe their backing and energy will help us succeed,” Masaro expressed.

Jadran m:tel, the other Montenegrin club in the Premier League, after a successful start against Mladost na Škver, will be hosting a match against Šabac this Saturday at 19:00.
