Lodz Welcomes Volleyball Final Four for the Third Time
The CEV Volleyball Champions League Final Four is set to take place at the Atlas Arena in Łódź from May 16th to 18th, according to Odbojka.me.
Renowned as a true haven for volleyball, the Atlas Arena will once again welcome four of Europe’s top teams, a role it previously fulfilled in 2010 and 2012.
With three Polish teams vying for a spot in the Final Four and performing exceptionally well in the tournament, Łódź emerges as the perfect venue for the season’s finale. The Atlas Arena has proudly hosted the crowning of the European champions twice, in 2010 and 2012, with Trentino and Zenit Kazan taking the titles amidst a fervent audience that filled the venue to capacity.
“We are thrilled to see such a prestigious event returning to Poland and to Łódź, especially in a club format this time. I am confident that we will experience a true celebration of European volleyball. I would like to extend my gratitude to the city and its mayor for their steadfast support of our sport. There is no doubt that fans will relish the spectacle, and we are hopeful for our Polish teams competing for a spot in the Final Four, as we could see a historic tournament featuring three Polish teams among the elite four,” expressed Sebastian Świederski, President of the Polish Volleyball Federation.
