Today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić declared that he will soon “invite the whole of Serbia to Belgrade” to demonstrate that Serbia “is not a handful of oats.”

“We will soon extend an invitation to everyone in Serbia to come to Belgrade, to showcase that Serbia is not something that can be easily taken,” Vučić expressed during a rally at the “Bobana Momčilović Veličković” Sports Center in Bor, concluding with “See you soon.”

He remarked that if anyone in Serbia desires a referendum regarding his resignation, they can always pursue one.

“If you want elections, you will always win them, and we will outdo you even more decisively. Anything is possible, but it must be done democratically. You will not witness coming to power through the streets again,” Vučić stated.

Students, who have been protesting by blocking their faculties since late November last year, have also announced a new protest scheduled for March 15th, to take place in Belgrade.
