Nikšić police apprehended MB (23), who had been evading capture after being suspected of seriously injuring VG (28) from Nikšić during a physical altercation.

On February 21, a staff member from the Medical Center in Nikšić alerted the police that VG sought medical care and was discovered to have sustained severe injuries, including a fractured nose and sinus bone.

According to the Police Directorate, following medical treatment, VG was transferred to the Clinical Center of Montenegro for further care.

“In their efforts to locate the individual responsible for the injuries to the victim, officers from the Nikšić Security Department swiftly identified MB as the suspect in this criminal case. He is believed to have inflicted these injuries on VG during a physical altercation that ensued after a verbal dispute outside a restaurant,” the police reported.

The State Prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Nikšić has ordered MB’s arrest on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm.
