The Future Prepares for Its Premiere: Double Program in Belgrade
The water polo players of Budućnost will kick off their inaugural match in the regional A1 league with a game in Belgrade against Vukovo this Saturday.
The team from Podgorica has two matches scheduled in the Serbian capital, as they will also face Zemun on Sunday.
Aleksandar Aleksić, the head coach of Budućnost, expressed his eagerness for the debut.
“The Wolves are recognized as one of the favorites for promotion to the Premier League. They had an outstanding performance last season. We have thoroughly scouted and analyzed their play. Their main strengths lie in counterattacks and semi-counterattacks, and we will do our best to compete against such a distinguished opponent,” Aleksić stated.
He also mentioned that there isn’t much information available about Zemun, apart from a few players he is familiar with.
“This is a new competition for us, and a fresh experience where our younger players will have the opportunity to shine. Alongside the new additions to our squad, we will strive to achieve the best possible results,” concluded Aleksić.
Both matches are set to begin at 19:45.
