The tender process for the preliminary design of the Bar-Boljare highway, specifically the Podgorica-Bar section and the Smokovac-Tološi subsection, has been successfully concluded with the awarding of the contract to the bidder “Via Project – CDS Project – Geotin MNE”, as announced by the state-owned company “Monteput”.

This section spans a total of ten kilometers, and the contract value amounts to 654,200 euros, exclusive of VAT.

The selected designer will be responsible for preparing a preliminary design for the route, along with preliminary designs for tunnels, bridges, and interchanges. This will include the preliminary designs for the Smokovac interchange – Phase II, which is intended to connect with the already finished Phase I of the Smokovac interchange and extend the highway towards Tološi, as well as the Tološi interchange, which will link to the M-3 highway connecting Podgorica and Nikšić.

The designer is also tasked with developing preliminary designs for roads within the accompanying facilities and the relocation of existing roads.

The timeline for creating the conceptual design is set at ten months from the contract signing date.
