Jadran Triumphs in a Shootout Against Primorac in Šibenik

Water polo players from Jadran secured their second win in the regional Premier League with impressive ease.

They overcame Valis from Valjevo with a score of 17:10 in a game that will be remembered for the dip in performance from midway through the first to the start of the second quarter.

Initially, the Novljan team sprinted to a 5:0 lead, only to permit their opponents to score four unanswered goals, a streak that was finally halted by Đorđe Lazić.

The victory was never in jeopardy, with Dmitrij Holod, Uroš Vučurović, and Đorđe Lazić being the standout scorers for Vladimir Gojković’s squad.

Strahinja Gojkovića, Vasilije Radović, and Danilo Stupar each netted two goals, while Dimitrije Obradović and Danilo Radović added one goal apiece. Notably, Aleksandar Ivović was rested during this match…

Meanwhile, Primorac faced their second consecutive loss in a closely contested match against Jadran from Split, which ended 15:13 in Šibenik, showcasing a clash between participants of the Champions League.

Kotor fell behind with scores of 3:0 and 4:1 but managed to rally back before halftime, posing a real threat of overturning the match.

However, the Split side held firm, led by Loren Fatović, who scored six goals.

Dušan Matković and Nika Šušijašvili contributed three goals each for our champions, while Savo Ćetković added two goals, and Marko Mršić, Luka Murišić, Nemanja Vico, Petar Ćetković, and Đorđije Stanojević each found the back of the net once.
