Jedinstvo and Mornar Volleyball Players Aim for Perfect Wins in EPCG Super League Play-Offs’ Second Legs

The upcoming second play-off matches of the EPCG Volleyball Super League will feature Jedinstvo facing Galeb, and Mornar taking on Sutjeska. These matches are set to take place over the next two days in Bijelo Polje and Bar.

On Wednesday at 17 p.m., Jedinstvo will welcome Galeb from Bar to the “Nikoljac” Sports Center. Under the guidance of coach Dalibor Načić, Jedinstvo performed strongly in the initial match, securing a dominant victory with a score of 3:0 (25:14, 25:18, 25:12). With this significant lead, they only require two sets to advance to the semifinals. Conversely, the young Barani must win either 3:0 or 3:1 to force a “golden set” for a shot at progressing to the next stage. The victor of this series will compete against Buducnost in the playoff semifinals.

The second playoff match is scheduled for Thursday at 20 p.m. at the Sports Center “Topolica.” Mornar will be looking to build on their 3:0 win (25:17, 25:15, 25:16) in Nikšić, needing just two sets in front of their home supporters to move forward to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the team from Nikšić must ensure they do not lose more than one set to keep their hopes alive for a decisive “golden set.” The winner of this match will go on to meet the reigning champion, the team from Budva, in the semi-finals.

The playoff semi-final matches are set for March 12th and will be conducted on a best-of-two basis.
