New President Takes Office at the Water Polo and Swimming Association on November 1
Today marked a significant development for the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro, as a president and vice-president of the assembly were elected, paving the way for the Election Assembly to appoint the VPSCG’s new leader.
As per the announcement, Dejan Rađenović from Budva has been appointed as the assembly’s president, while Rajko Ćupić, the leader of Budućnost, will serve as the vice president.
The assembly had been without a president since June, following the resignation of Mirza Krcić (Primorac).
It’s worth mentioning that the delegates from Primorje and Qatar were absent from today’s meeting.
Currently, the water polo association is also without a chairman for the board of directors due to Đuro Marić’s resignation earlier in September…
“The attendees acknowledged the resignations of the previous Board of Directors’ president, Dr. Đuro Marić, and former assembly president, Mirza Krcić,” the VPSCG announced.
Furthermore, they noted:
“At the suggestion of PVK Budva, the delegates unanimously elected Dejan Rađenović, a club member, as the president of the VPSCG Assembly, while Rajko Ćupić, president of PVK Budućnost, was elected as vice president.”
The assembly set for electing a new president and Board of Directors for VPSCG is scheduled to take place on November 1 at 16:00.
Additionally, the announcement of a new coach is anticipated following Vladimir Gojković’s departure from the senior national team after the Olympic Games.
