An unexpected event unfolded in Skopje, where Montenegrin player Vuko Borozan will not participate in Vardar’s Europa League match against Porto, as he was attacked by stray dogs.
This incident was disclosed by the coach of the Macedonian team, Vlado Nedanovski.
“Regrettably, we have several players injured—around four or five handball players. Unforeseen events occur in our capital. Vuko Borozan was assaulted by dogs while out walking with his children and is now in the hospital. In defending his kids, he received about 14-15 stitches. He will not be playing tomorrow, and I can’t say when we will have him back,” stated Nedanovski.
On Tuesday, Vardar is set to host the Portuguese side as part of the Europa League group stage.
