The President of the Bosniak Party (BS), Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Ervin Ibrahimović, extended his congratulations to Friedrich Merz, the leader of the German Christian Democrats, and the CDU, on their outstanding election performance, as reported by BS.

“I wish you all the best in the negotiations and a swift establishment of a stable government. I look forward to enhancing our collaboration to strengthen the partnership between our nations and the shared values we uphold,” stated Ibrahimović on the social media platform Iks.

The BS noted that at the invitation of Merz, Ibrahimović, along with BS international secretary Admir Šahmanović, attended the recently held CDU party congress in Berlin.

“The BS and CDU maintain strong inter-party relations and are both part of the European People’s Party (EPP), with the Bosniak Party being the sole member party from Montenegro,” the statement explained.
