In today’s match of the 25th round of the English Premier League, Arsenal secured a 2:0 victory over Leicester.

Mikel Merino was the star of the game, netting both goals for Arsenal in the 81st and 87th minutes. He made the most of his brief time in the penalty area with two decisive touches on the ball.

Having come on as a substitute for Raheem Sterling in the 69th minute, Merino’s performance was particularly crucial given Arsenal’s ongoing injury woes in the attack. His impact could prove valuable for the remainder of the season.

Currently, Arsenal sits in second place with 53 points, trailing first-placed Liverpool by four points but with a game in hand. Meanwhile, Leicester finds itself in a precarious position at 18th with just 17 points.

Looking ahead to the next round, Arsenal will face West Ham, while Leicester will take on Brentford.
