The captivating journey with Kendrick Perry concluded in Bulgaria when Montenegro nearly secured its place in the European Championships. Following his departure, coach Boško Radović opted to invite two “foreigners” for the upcoming matches.

The Montenegrin head coach revealed an expanded lineup for the final two EuroBasket qualifiers against Germany and Sweden, featuring new addition Charlie Moore, along with John Radebau, who has previously donned the national team’s jersey.

Radebau had been listed as a substitute for Perry but may see gameplay due to Moore sustaining a knee injury in mid-December, casting uncertainty over his return to play.

His last appearance in Breogan’s playoff on December 8 saw him lead the team to a significant away victory against Gran Canaria, scoring 19 points.

Montenegro is set to host world champions Germany on February 20 in Podgorica, with a subsequent match against Sweden in Stockholm three days later.

Although our national team has not yet officially qualified for the European Championship, a miraculous set of circumstances would be required to prevent participation in the tournament hosted by Latvia, Cyprus, Poland, and Finland.

For Montenegro to miss out, they must lose both games against Germany and Sweden, resulting in all group teams ending with a 3-3 record, alongside having the lowest point differential.
