“Primorac Hosts Again in Budva; Jadran Travels to Belgrade”
Water polo clubs Primorka and Jadran Mtela are set to continue their battle in the regional Premier League.
The reigning champion aims to break a streak of three consecutive losses, hoping to achieve this in their upcoming match against Solaris from Šibenik.
This matchup is scheduled for Saturday at 18:00 and will take place in Budva due to the ongoing tensions between Montenegro and Croatia regarding the name of the Kotor swimming pool, “Zoran Džimi Gopčević”.
Primorac won their opening three matches (defeating Primorje, also in Budva) but faced defeats against Novi Belgrade and Jadran from Split, whom they recently encountered in Šibenik.
Conversely, Jadran boasts a record of 2-1, having triumphed over Mladost and Valis, with their sole loss occurring in Šabac.
They will aim to maintain their positive record during their visit to Novi Belgrade on Monday the 19th, which is the only team that has achieved a perfect performance in the first three rounds.
In the A1 league, the Budva water polo team will host Korčula on Saturday (20), while the Montenegrin derby between Budućnost and Qatar is set for October 23.
