The Spektra Association fully supports the informal student group “Kamo Śutra” and aims to aid in their demands and bolster their protests through active engagement and commitment, as stated by the non-governmental organization (NGO).

“We gather here for the justice and accountability that the families of the victims from Cetinje rightfully deserve, and we urge all citizens to join the planned protest tomorrow in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) at 19:30,” the statement read.

Spektra acknowledged the significant contributions of the informal student group “Kamo Śutra” for Montenegro.

“Promoting a culture of protest and civil disobedience, demonstrating that there is no room for fear or hesitance in the quest for justice and accountability,” added the statement.

According to Spektra, “Where Tomorrow” is a beacon of perseverance, conviction, and integrity, showcasing that despite extensive organized opposition, their resolve only grows stronger.

“It is our responsibility to support the efforts of the broader civil sector, which we have been nurturing for decades through our initiatives,” concluded Spektra’s statement.

During the second plenum of NGO workers and civil activists held on Thursday, it was resolved that continuing this format of discussion and direct action is crucial.

“We will collaborate with a group of students to help realize their demands and will endeavor to raise awareness about the significance of the protests, remaining actively involved,” the statement specified.

Spektra has called upon citizens to participate in tomorrow’s protest in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“To convey a strong message that our society values justice and will not yield to intimidation and propaganda tactics, while honoring the memory of the 23 victims, to whom we owe solidarity and a relentless pursuit of accountability,” concluded the statement.
