Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science, and Relations with Religious Communities, Budimir Aleksić, held a meeting with a delegation from the Jewish Community of Montenegro.

In discussions with the President of the Jewish Community, Nina Ofner Bokan, it was determined that the establishment of Montenegro’s first and only Jewish Cultural Center and Synagogue is a project of significant public importance for the nation. Furthermore, it symbolizes a substantial move towards enhancing the cordial relations between Montenegro and Israel.

President Ofner Bokan briefed Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić on the progress of the construction and the challenges encountered, particularly regarding financial limitations.
