The Tivat police have lodged a criminal complaint against a 44-year-old man identified as DP from the city, on the grounds of allegedly selling the same apartment more than once.

He is suspected of committing fraud and unlawfully profiting an amount of 70,000 euros.

According to the police, “He is alleged to have misled the victim by presenting a purchase contract for an apartment, thereby acquiring unlawful material gain. He received 70,000 euros based on a preliminary agreement for the sale of a real estate apartment in Tivat, but failed to finalize the contract with the buyer. Subsequently, two years later, DP sold the same apartment to another individual from Podgorica for 65,000 euros, formalizing this sale with a purchase and sale agreement. This second buyer successfully registered the apartment in her name, later selling it to a third person from Podgorica,” as stated by the Police Directorate.
