Kataro Triumphs Over Budućnost in Podgorica
The water polo team from Qatar triumphed over Budućnost in Podgorica with a final score of 15:11 (2:4, 5:2, 5:3, 3:2) during the third round of the Regional A1 League.
This marked the first competitive game for the Budućnost team at the SC “Morača” pool.
Ljubomir Kovačić played a pivotal role in Qatar’s victory, netting five goals. Dragan Marković and Marko Milić contributed two goals each, while Pavo Vičević, Ivan Marković, Veljko Vujović, Dušan Milaš, and Nikola Marković each added one goal.
On the Budućnost side, David Stevović stood out as the top scorer with three goals. Neđo Baštrica, Igor Uskoković, and Goran Grgurević each scored two, while Matija Brguljan and Mlađan Janović each netted one goal.
