Prior to Claudio Ranieri’s arrival, Roma had not registered any away victories, but they have now achieved three consecutive wins – the “wolf” triumphed 1-0 against Parma.

The match was less challenging than the score indicates, as Roma conserved energy for their upcoming Europa League rematch against Porto (1:1).

In the 31st minute, 18-year-old Leoni earned a direct red card for a foul outside the penalty area, and it seemed preferable had it been a penalty, as it would have resulted in only a yellow card.

22-year-old Argentine Matias Sule netted a stunning free kick.

With the advantage of an extra player, Roma didn’t exert themselves too much, but they reached 37 points, leaving them nine points shy of Lazio in the final Champions League spot.

Parma sits just below the relegation zone with 20 points, marking a fourth consecutive defeat.

Monza managed a goalless draw at home against Lecce, putting an end to their streak of four consecutive losses.

This match marked the home squad’s first outing following the dismissal of coach Salvatore Bocchetti, who was succeeded by Alessandro Nesta.

Monza currently resides at the bottom of the table, positioned 20th with 14 points, while Lecce holds 15th place with 25 points.

In the next round, Monza will travel to Rome to face Roma, while Lecce will host Udinese.

Udinese triumphed over Empoli 3-0 at home in the 25th round of the Italian Serie A today.

Udinese took an early lead with a goal from Jürgen Ekelenkamp in the 19th minute, who then doubled their lead with another goal in the 65th minute. Florian Thauven sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute.

Udinese is currently in 10th place on the table with 33 points, while Empoli is in 17th place with 21 points.

In the next round, Udinese will play away against Lecce, and Empoli will host Atalanta.

In the day’s opening match, Como defeated Fiorentina 2-0 in Florence.

Como gained the lead with a goal from Asan Diao in the 41st minute, and the final score was sealed by Niko Pas with a goal in the 66th minute. Como now has 25 points, while Fiorentina remains at 42 points.

In the upcoming round, Como will host Napoli, and Fiorentina will play away against Verona.
