Dodik: Milatovic Disparages Republika Srpska

Tanjug

The President of the Republika Srpska (RS) criticized Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović’s statement about visiting only Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) without the entities, calling it an insult to RS and a denial of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“We will see how it goes in Sarajevo. Perhaps we allow him to meet solely with Muslims, but then I wouldn’t,” Dodik posted on social media platform X.

He mentioned that during his visit to the Parliament of Montenegro and the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandic, he was unaware of the power dynamics in Montenegro and did not anticipate an invitation from Milatović, nor did he wish to meet him.

“I hope that in the near future we will bolster the forces that will restore Montenegro’s alliance with Serbia and its unity with the Serbian people,” Dodik remarked.

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović noted that Dodik’s visit to Montenegro felt somewhat unusual and was hardly announced.

He informed TV News that he did not “receive notice of” Dodik’s visit to Podgorica.

– I didn’t perceive it that way. If we had individuals who clearly expressed their stances, it would have been different. My views regarding BiH are very clear. I regard Bosnia and Herzegovina as a complete state – Milatović stated.
