Sculpture Taken from Hotel; Suspects Held in Custody
Following a session at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, MM and FC have been held for up to 72 hours based on reasonable suspicion of committing theft in complicity.
The prosecutor’s office reported that on February 17, 2025, the two individuals “entered the K. Hotel in Podgorica together, premeditatedly, and took a bird-shaped sculpture valued at approximately 1,000 euros from the hotel hallway.” “They placed it in a bag, ensuring that hotel staff remained unaware of their actions, and subsequently exited the hotel with the item and walked away.”
