Ješić Arrested, Along with Multiple Opposition Leaders
Today, Goran Ješić, the founder of the “Solidarity” movement in Novi Sad, was taken into custody, as confirmed by a friend to Nova.rs.
Ješić announced on his X profile that he was being pursued by Serbian authorities.
A representative from the Nova.rs editorial team contacted Ješić, but was informed by his friend that he had been detained.
“Goran was apprehended. We are uncertain about the reasons, whether he is being questioned or something else… He was taken away just 10 minutes ago,” a friend of Goran Ješić shared with Nova.rs.
Marinika Tepić, an MP from the Justice and Reconciliation Party, revealed via her X network account that Vladimir Vrsajkov from her party and Peđa Dragojević, a provincial MP from NPS, had also been detained.
“Police are actively arresting opposition members in Novi Sad. The arrest of councilor Dr. Vladimir Vrsajkov/SSP, who was barred from attending the session this morning, alongside provincial deputy Peđa Dragojević/NPS, is currently happening. We suspect he won’t be the only one… reporting for everyone… They have also detained Srđan Đurić/PSG, Brajan Brković/Bravo, and Goran Ješić,” Marinika Tepić posted on X.
